About The Family Fido
Here at The Family Fido, we believe in making training fun, easy, and positive, all while helping to create top quality family dogs. Dogs and humans communicate very differently, and learn differently from one another. Our goal is to educate the dog, but more importantly, educate the human on how to learn their dogs behaviors and mannerisms so they can be efficient teachers. When you are able to understand your dog and use positive, appropriate training techniques, you are able to create a stronger bond with your dog, all while creating a well mannered dog in your home and out in public. All of our training techniques are 100% positive reward-based, and will never use any form of punishment that could inhibit your dog's success.

Nothing. I understand things happen , but no communication is no ok. We had same problem with other trainer as well. We need help desperately but will not work with people who can’t communicate and or be on time. Really sucks we have this beautiful dog who gets along well with our dog but is missing out on so much life because she won’t let us near her

I always rant and rave about The Family Fido! They have provided boarding, day care, day care with training, and training sessions for our dog. The owners absolutely care about your pets and are super nice. This facility is on the owner’s countryside property instead of a facility so there is room for dogs to run and play and they are able to do so safely. There is no one I trust with my dog like I do with this business. Not only is one of the owners a trainer, she is also a certified vet tech. Because of this, my dog’s health is always safe. Besides all of that, I have witnessed a dog that was aggressive turn into a well behaved dog, simply because of the training they provided. They always are about fear free positive reinforcement training and allowing dogs to be dogs.
