The Family Fido

Family Fido is hands down the best boarding and training facility I have worked with in my over 25 years of owning dogs. Jessica and her team are not just dog babysitters. Each person who works there understands dog behavior, cares about each dog individually, and makes sure that each dog is getting the socialization and training that they need to be happy and confident. I love getting photos and updates on how my dog is doing while I am away. It is truly my dog’s home away from home. Thank you Family Fido!

Family Fido was a life saver for me and my anxious pup. I first consulted Jess to help me when my dog had leash reactivity. She acted not only as a translator at first but then gave me the skills to continue to support him in the most holistic way and gave us the tools to thrive. Boarding for an anxious dog was difficult to find who would see him and honor his preferences. Family Fido became Disney World for my dog and he enjoyed every stay and I knew he would be safe and listened to. I loved and respected her training and approach so much, I adopted my next dog through a forever fido and he is confident, resilient and so wonderful. You can tell that he was raised in a safe a secure place with incredible and supportive exposures. She continues to be thoughtful, kind and easily shares her incredible expertise. I cannot recommend Family Fido enough. I have now had experience with a mature dog needing additional support and early puppy training and there is nothing she can’t do. If you want to learn, engage, and support your dog as the individual being they are. It’s a game changer.

We've been using The Family Fido for years. It is the only place I trust with our pugs. They go above & beyond to give individual care for each dog staying. Mine are nervous and have some medical issues but they do very well there. We can leave them with peace of mind that they're in the most loving & skilled hands. The dog training experience they have is top notch and also puts my mind at ease that they can easily observe & predict potential problems before they happen. It's not about gimmicks -doggie TV's, fancy snacks or throwing all kinds of dogs together regardless of temperament. It's about their real physical & mental enrichment - outside time in a large piece of property, interacting with people and appropriate dogs in positive & responsible ways and treating each doggie guest as the individual they are. The Family Fido is what all dog care facilities should strive to be.
