FirstBarkOur very reactive dog that we adopted needed some extra attention and care through walks, manners, and overstimulation. Mica did a great job with him and made it super doable when we brought him home. Definitely a training to do early with your dog - and because of a their extra training on Saturdays that they offer - excellent to do throughout. Highly recommend!

Where to even start - The folks at Dog Wizard Twin Cities are simply the best. I had an incredibly nervous dog I had rescued and I was really struggling to help her build confidence and learn how to even just walk on a leash. Their consultation process felt super easygoing - they meet with you, watch you and your dog interact, explain what they do, how they work, and what their options are. At no point did I really feel like they were trying to sell me on anything, they just wanted to help however worked best for us. I did a Day Training program with them and our primary trainer Mica was an absolute dream to work with. She would let me know the plan for what they'd work on, ask if there was any specific issues/concerns that needed addressing, and provided updates during the day. When I would pick my pup up, the trainers talked me through what we needed to work on at home, watched me work on what our 'homework' was, and corrected me on how best to do things. Mica and the other trainers helped to give my Dog and me so much more confidence. I cannot stress how fantastic they are to work with and if you are looking for help I would strongly recommend giving them a call.

We are so grateful for the love, care, training and support our Murphy received during his 21-day puppy jumpstart program, while at The Dog Wizard Twin Cities! Trainer Mica was fantastic to work with and kept us updated with Murphys progress with texts, videos, phone call check in, and pictures. Murphy came home with great manners and a strong foundation of socialization with other dogs, in public, obedience, and loose leash walking! Mica has been great checking in to see how Murphy has adjusted back at home and set up a home follow up visit to continue the training and support! We are excited to join in with the Saturday alumni group sessions to continue this great adventure! We would give The Dog Wizard 10 stars if allowed and highly recommend this program.
Mica and the team at the dog wizard have helped our dog so much through the two week jump start program! He has come back home a more settled, less reactive, and less anxious dog. Mica has been responsive and kept us up to date throughout his time there and has provided support afterwards, would definitely recommend!
