Here we partner on the dogs training. We'll pick up and train your dog during the day and return your dog in the evening and report the results, and give the owner 'homework' instruction for the next couple days. We pick up the dog after the couple days again and add to the training, then repeat the steps throughout a 5 or 10 day program. After the training for one full year if your experiencing difficulty on something that was worked on with your dog we will come out free of charge to help correct it again.

The Dog Wizard is truly amazing. My 6 month Lab and I went for the private training. We were blessed to get Kurtis as our trainer. I started the training not knowing how to get my puppy to go on walks without pulling, she really didn’t have much recall and could be reactive when we were out on walks. Now when I take her for a walk even in highly populated area she doesn’t even pull away from me. She walks with her head held high and knows that I am the leader. There were so many things Kurtis taught me that I didn’t know. The Dog Wizard is the best. I highly recommend. Thank you Kurtis, you are the best.

We will admit as previous owners of multiple dogs and never having even boarded a dog, we were hesitant to leave our five-month old Golden Retriever, Harbor anywhere for two weeks, yes, two weeks!
Yet, from the time of drop-off we started to feel that we didn’t really need to worry. Our trainer, Kurtis prepared us for the drop-off and immediately took Harbor and started working with him. From what we could see on Facebook and through text messages we were also able to “learn” as Harbor was training. We could hear the trigger words and see the actions that began to allow our anxious, mouthy, bundle of energy to start feeling comfortable in his own skin so-to-say. We can’t say enough about Kurtis’s patience and fortitude with Harbor and all the dogs he trains/interacts with.
Before we knew it, we were attending our pick-up day human training session with Kurtis and Harbor. The very day we took our pup home we immediately noticed a difference in his behavior and reactivity. The combination of dog and owner training is definitely a key to success. It will be an ongoing process. Yet, the foundation is set at The Dog Wizard of Medina.
While Harbor was in training, we had traveled and saw a Dog Wizard Facility in Nashville and this reminded us that Harbor and us have national support, in addition to local assistance after this 2-week class!
Last but not least, we wish to thank Steve and Aurelia of The Dog Wizard Medina for their communications, patience, and professionalism especially as we were in the decision-making process for Harbor’s training needs.

Our dog Lexi had a wonderful experience at the Dog Wizard. We enrolled Lexi because she absolutely refused to potty outside. No amount of treats, praise or time spent outside would entice her. Once she came back inside she would immediately potty. It was so frustrating. Our trainer was Gabby, who was absolutely wonderful. She updated us regularly and posted videos to Facebook so that we could follow along on the journey. She also was very honest about how trying it was trying to get Lexi to potty outside. But…. Success! She’s had a few accidents since being home, but she consistently goes to the door. Lexi’s other training went very well. Very much improved leash walking, stay, sit and leave it. Overall listening is much better. We loved Gabby and appreciated everything she did for Lexi and ultimately us.

Leaving them for 2 weeks wasn't easy for us but Kurtis told us we could call or text to check on them and even after he said we could always call or text if we need any tips or have any questions moving forward on our own.
We are so happy we made this decision to get them properly trained and looking forward to our new life with our happy pups.
