2020 was a tough year for Rocky, who was really feeling the isolation from other dogs and became increasingly more leash reactive when out in public. We reached out to Krissy to set up an evaluation and private lessons with our goals being less leash reactivity/aggression towards other dogs and building up to off leash commands for hikes and camping.
Working with Krissy has been wonderful! She is patient, caring and knowledgable. Rocky has improved tremendously with his on leash walking in general, as well as being able to pass other dogs on trails and be in the same environment with stranger dogs in a much calmer state of mind. We really appreciate the additional support classes that are offered on Saturdays and Krissy's responsiveness when we reach out with questions or for advice when a new behavior has come up. Rocky's other skills he learned with Krissy like going place when someone comes to the door have been a game changer. She has helped lower our anxiety about taking Rocky to public places and build Rocky's confidence in his ability to follow commands. Highly recommend.

I am very disappointed in the quality of the time in training. Also was pointed out in a class and threaten for not bringing my 3 pound dog in on a transitional leash. I was told that if I did not comply I would not get a certificate and would be banned from using website. Saying this in front of other clients was very unprofessional in my opinion. I will not recommend

Upstate Dog Wizard is the best. Remington completed the two week off leash training and the results were amazing. He is truly a happier dog and we are happier dog owners.

Well, we decided to get not one but two Boxer puppies thinking that training would be no problem. HAHA!!! After a year of trying and spending money on a “trainer”, we were at our wits end. Then, we found Krissy at a booth in downtown Spartanburg, Spring Festival. Yes, we were skeptical at first but knew we had to get them trained. Krissy came to our home to evaluate the 2 little “wild” boxers, Max and Lola. She tells us they will train fine. So, we took a deep breath and said OK let’s get them set up to be boarded and trained.
When Max and Lola returned Hubby and I were shocked/speechless. After both spent 14 days with Krissy, they returned so behaved and NO more jumping on people. They took to our commands right away, especially when told to go to “place” and responding to the command “come”.
Max and Lola have now become so well behaved and even more enjoyable. Krissy knows how to work her “magic”.
Krissy proved that her training is worth every penny.
