The Dog Wizard Cincinnati

We cannot express enough gratitude for Alex our Trainer and Dog Wizard for helping us with Cheeto's Impulse Control and Obedience around Dogs. We rescued Cheeto after our Vet was asked to help remove him. We do not know much of his first few years only that he was found on the side of the road by a trucker who fed him a bag of cheetos hence the name Cheeto and then our Vet was asked to help rehome him a few years later. Alex and Dog Wizard have been incredible to work with. Alex truly loves what he does, is super kniwledgeable and treats Cheeto like his own. We could not have asked for a better Trainer. We enrolled our 16-month-old Border Collie in a board-and-train program to address his reactivity and build his confidence, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The facility is fantastic, offering a wide variety of activities tailored to meet each dog’s individual needs. Our main trainer, Pam, was absolutely phenomenal. She kept us consistently updated with regular communication and videos, so we could see our pup’s progress firsthand. The ongoing check-in lessons were incredibly valuable, helping us understand how to continue working with him effectively. The in-home sessions were especially impactful, giving us the tools and confidence to reinforce his training and set him up for long-term success. We’re so grateful for the care and expertise our dog received at Dog Wizard, and we can’t thank Pam enough for helping him develop a more confident, balanced mindset—and for teaching us how to support him every step of the way!!
