We’re the Dog Wizard team in Cincinnati, and we help dog owners achieve calm, reliable behavior through clear structure and hands-on training. We work with puppies and adult dogs struggling with leash pulling, reactivity, anxiety, aggression, and impulse control. Many families choose our board-and-train jumpstart programs for intensive progress, then continue with private lessons, puppy programs, off-leash training, and free lifetime group classes. We also support graduates with daycare and boarding options that reinforce good habits. Clients often tell us the biggest change is confidence, finally understanding how to communicate with their dog in real-world settings like home, walks, and public places.

We are so glad we called The Dog Wizard! Our rescue puppy was struggling with adjusting to being in the house and we were getting pretty exhausted trying to train him ourselves. Chuck did an amazing job with obedience training and provided our family with refreshing approaches to interacting with our puppy and understanding his needs better. The day program option worked great for our busy schedules and we are so happy with the results. Our puppy is a well balanced happy boy and we are so grateful for the insights the Dog Wizard program gave our family!

Couldn't be happier with the results from the Dog Wizard in Liberty Township. Our trainer David was nothing short of amazing! He provided daily updates via both text and FB which really helped us feel reassured! The results have been awesome! Highly recommended!

Katie did an unbelievable job. Otto has calmed down and is super easy walking and totally well behaved a crowded room. That was a BIG problem before Katie got ahold of him. Couldn’t be happier with the result.

Dave is a life saver. We can’t thank Dave and The Cincinnati Dog Wizard enough. We have a 7 year old American Doberman and a 6 month old Euro Doberman. Dave really had his work cut out for him with our 7 y/o. She is NOT food, toy, play or motivated by anything. She has issues with strangers, shut down with e-collars and was a constant puller on a leash (even with a prong collar). Dave really is THE dog wizard. He turned Nala a complete 180°. She walks fantastic on a leash, allows visitors in the house, doesn’t bark at the neighbors and no longer loses her mind when the cat comes around.
Nova and Nala both listen and obey commands, they are new dogs.
Dave has been in constant communication, is patient (had to be with Nala) and very knowledgeable. Couldn’t recommend enough.
The support walks and lifetime support are such a great touch. The ability for continuing education and support with socialization is really great.
I’d give 10 stars if it let me.
