The Dog Thinks What? LLC

Carrie (owner/trainer) is exceptional! Truly gifted with understanding and training both you and your dog!! She has laid a solid positive foundation for our puppy and changed the dynamics in our home. We cannot say enough about her compassion for your pet and her amazing results. She is a straightforward professional. She let’s you know what to expect and she delivers on her promise. We highly recommend Carrie for anyone considering obedience training. We did the 3 week in-house boarding training and could not be more please. Carrie communicates an update with video every day and you will be amazed how quickly your dog learns! Thank you, Carrie! Today we finished the formal part of training my dog. Bari is a six-year-old rescue who, although smart, had some bad habits and was very reactive to other dogs. We had two sessions at my home and then Bari went to Board and Train with Carrie, followed by four Saturdays with training at my house. Carrie taught me how to work with him so that he is now much more controllable when we meet other dogs, and our walks are going to be so much better! Carrie is a consummate professional who understands dogs and their behavior and is also skilled at helping humans understand and work with their dogs. She is firm but kind and an excellent trainer. I am so glad I found her and recommend her to anyone who has a dog that needs help.

My pup just finished his 5 week at home training and I couldn’t be any happier. I told Carrie what Behaviors my pup needed to improve in and that is what we worked on. I feel that my pup is more relaxed along with myself as I don’t fear that he will run away. Carrie commutation was great- she demonstrates first and then allowed me to learn how to communicate with my pup. She allows texts/emails thought out training to provide further assistance. Thank you Carrie for providing me the tools to communicate with Mylo. FYI - Mylo is 9 years old, so, yes, an old dog can be trained 🙂

We have 2 older dogs, a Chihuahua (Peanut) and a smaller poodle/terrier mix (Sweetie). My wife and I wanted to get a puppy that was bigger. We rescued two sister beagle mixes (Belle and Beauty). We really only went to rescue one but couldn't say no to either one. The new pups got along well with Sweetie but not so much with Peanut. Plus I knew I needed assistance with my behavior as a pack leader to help improve our pack. We decided we needed a dog trainer. So we called Carrie. She gave us a consultation and we hired her after she explained the process to us. Carrie listen to our needs, explained to us what we could reasonably expect to get out of the training. Honestly Carrie has exceeded all of my expectations. The dogs have improved, I have learned to set rules and boundries, and to be a better pack leader. My wife has really done a great job of working our dogs with Carries guidance. We couldn't be happier with what we have learned, and how Carrie has trained us to be better dog people.
