Just 1520 minutes of scent work can tire a dog more effectively than an hour of runningreducing anxiety, destructiveness, and hyperactivity while building confidence and focus. This program includes 10 structured training days within one month, where your dog will participate in daily detection sessions during daycare. Each dog progresses through foundational scent work, including box searches, room searches, and increasing levels of difficulty as their skills develop. My Jack Russell Terrier, Kevin Bacon, can be quite a handful, but I always feel completely comfortable leaving him in their care. They are extremely responsive, providing regular updates, along with pictures and videos, which gives me such peace of mind knowing that Kevin is safe, happy, and loved. It is clear that they treat him like one of their own. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and communicative dog trainer and boarder!

There are not enough words to describe the compassion of the trainers at The Dog School of New Orleans. I found Abby running by the highway near my office, and according to the veterinarians, Abby was a Yorkie Terrier who had minimal human interaction before my husband and I rescued her. After almost 2 months with Abby, we realized she was a special girl with unique care needs in her training. Jordan, the nervous, stubborn dog whisperer, has been a fantastic resource even after I picked Abby up. He has been incredibly patient, straightforward, and a supportive cheerleader to Abby and me as we find our way in this new life in our now 3 dog family home. I can’t wait to work with The Dog School again with my other dogs!

The follow up hour of human instruction and the availability to text with questions as I continue to reinforce the lessons he taught Tregre and myself was invaluable.
