The Dog Den

The Dog Den owners Allyson and James are amazing people. They are responsive, kind, and easy to get along with. They have taken my two dogs, a Doberman and a Malinois, multiple times, even on short notice, and every time I am relaxed and assured they are in good hands. Both my dogs are unable to get along with other dogs, and they are able to separate and make sure my dogs are safe while getting lots of time to hang out, exercise, and get love from both.

I took a chance and on google and found doggie den for help with my Mini Australian shepherd named Chili, a five month old puppy that was showing extreme aggression towards visitors to our home. Nine out of 10, Chili would just suddenly get in attack mode and bite. I also have a seven year old, mini Australian shepherd, Chuy, which is very well-behaved with the exception of barking and lunging toward other dogs outside the home. Once close to the dog he will stop. Dogs that come into the home he’s fine with, which I found odd since usually its the opposite. So I met with Ally and her husband, instantly and felt a great vibe as well did my dogs. Ally suggested working with the puppy first, And then for me to try Applying what I learned from her On Chuy and if that didn’t work, then I can sign him up as well. I thought that was very generous of her. One of My visits to Watch and learn her training with Chili, I brought Chuy with me. Not only was I impressed with Chili’s new behavior, but The advice and tools Ally kindly provided me For Chuy on just his one visit there honestly has been total life-changing for myself and Chuy. Now outings or just even to have him in the front yard with me are so much more enjoyable without his chaos. many friends and family, are very impressed and pleased also that They can come to my home without being bitten by one…or having To hear the other one bark every time, a dog walks by! I’m a hands-on learner and have to do things a few times before it gets stuck in my head… So I greatly appreciate Ali‘s patience with me! weeks later and multiple Text and calls, she is always great at responding along with Going above and beyond Providing her knowledge with never making me feel like I’m a bother. I am definitely a client for life, For training and boarding and I would refer The Doggie Den with the most confidence that you will be happy you chose them! Thank you both again 🫶🏼

We sent our female corso to Ally after having our baby boy. All her training I did from before was starting to fall off and I knew I didn’t have the time to get her socialized and address what needed to be addressed with a newborn. Even though Rytera had a good foundation and structure started, Ally was able to fine tune her manners such as; place, entering and exiting the doors, recall, and more! Over the weeks I was updated more than I could have asked for. Ally listened to all my concerns I had for Rytera and she made sure to address those things. The amount of times I got videos of my dog and I was shocked at the progress in such a small amount of time was amazing! I couldn’t be happier with the amount of communication and the way I felt heard about my concerns with my dog. Ally and James treat you like family and your dog as one of their own! I knew what I was looking for in a trainer and Ally was that! Someone who could handle protection breeds, would listen to my concerns, execute them to the best of their ability and treat my dog as one of theirs. Even when Rytera came home I knew if I had any questions I could reach out and she would get back to me in a very timely manner! 10 out of 10 would recommend dog den 408 for training! They have a great structured foundation for every dog that enters their home! They will also be our go to boarding for when we do family get always without the 4 legged babies! Brought my seven month old pitbull puppy who had been in an abusive home and starved and had no idea how to act. I brought her to the dog den. I believe it was February of this year. The dog I brought down was out of control and would not listen to anything or do anything. When I picked her up three weeks later, she was a whole different animal. What I enjoyed the most about my experience with my daily pictures and videos of my dog. I enjoyed that they put the dogs on treadmills and exercise them and took them everywhere on a leash of course. My dog was happy and well taken care of and is now leading a very good life. My other alternative was to surrender and I was not going to do that. I highly recommend the dog to anybody who wants to have an incredibly trained well-behaved dog.

Allyson and James are total professionals. The Dog Den is the only place we trust to board our 7 year old German Shepherd. She always comes back home clean, healthy, and happy! We have tried other local boarders and this is by far the best option. Knowledgeable trainers and business owners. We have not needed to send our dog in for training, but I have seen the results with other board-and-trains and it makes me consider it! Thanks for taking care of our family like your own.
