FirstBarkLast week we boarded our 8 month old black lab Newton at Dog Den. Ally and James are true professionals. They provided us with daily updates on Newton’s activities. We were very happy to know that our Boy received great care and that he was in good hands. We highly recommend Dog Den.

About The Dog Den
At the Dog Den we offer a fully immersive Board and Train Program. The training will take place in our home and surrounding areas. The dogs will work on obedience, socialization, manners in the home as well as out in public. Programs normally range from 3 weeks to 6 weeks depending on the amount of training needed.

We’ve been boarding our goldendoodle, Steve, at the Dog Den for the past year and a half and have always had a wonderful experience. Allyson is flexible, making it easy to coordinate drop-off and pick-up times that work for our schedule. She’s also highly communicative, keeping us updated with pictures and notes about how Steve is doing, which gives us peace of mind. It’s clear that Allyson cares about the pets she looks after and has given me great advice about food and training when I’ve asked for help. Steve always comes back from the Dog Den happy and well cared for. We couldn’t recommend Allyson more highly!
Great experience!!! We have a new dog. We sent a dog that did not listen at all and was unmanageable. After 4 weeks our dog came home with manners and listening skills. We can now take her places and even just for neighborhood walks without having to worry about being dragged down the street. We didn’t think it was possible but our dog is now the best ever!

We were in search of training for our 9 month old Golden Retriever and thankfully found Allyson and The Dog Den. We sent our puppy Ace to the four week board and train program and could not be happier with the results. He truly gained a wonderful foundation for his training and we are thoroughly impressed by all he learned in his time with Allyson. The training program allowed for him to work on his training in a home environment and additionally, around town when they went out for training adventures. We were also so grateful to have found individuals who cared for and treated our dog as if he was their own. Allyson and James are wonderful, kind, and dedicated individuals. We appreciated the time and effort spent working with our dog and the commitment to focus on the areas of concern that we voiced. Overall, our experience was great and we look forward to continuing our training journey with The Dog Den!
