Certified as a Professional Dog Trainer certifications; Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP) which focuses on marker training for teaching basic behaviors, Family Dog Mediator (FDM), which uses the L.E.G.S. model (Learning, Environment, Genes, and Self) to understand dog behavior from an ethological perspective and completion of the Aggression in Dogs Master course and workshops instructed by Michael Shikashio to understand how to effectively and humanely modify aggressive, reactive and problem behaviors.

He was very accommodating to my schedule and his lesson plans were tailored to my dog’s needs. The purpose of every lesson was clearly explained and every trick was easy for me to reinforce throughout the week between sessions. Thanks to John, I’ve seen tremendous progress in my dog; I could never take him out on a walk without him lunging and barking at another dog, but now we can go to the park/dog park and have a great experience. I highly recommend the Dog Clicker and John! You will not regret the investment you make into this training!

We were looking for a trainer for our 9 year old rescue Rocky . He was very dog reactive, borderline agressive. He is a small dog, and after he took on 2 other dog's we knew, we definitely needed help. We are glad, we've found John. He is very patient, soft spoken and observed with dogs. Not only our little one needed training, we too. He taught us, what glues to look for and what to to do, when a potential problem could arise. At no point there was yelling or yanking involved. He was very flexible with our meeting points and times because we have a difficult schedule We are 100% happy with John and can say only good things about him. PS. You can teach old dogs new tricks, John proofs it 😀
