FirstBarkJimmy has done a wonderful job with our 15 month old English Setter! He walks nicely on a leash and will obey the commands. The photos and videos sent throughout Gunner's stay were so nice to receive. Also, Jimmy is very diligent about making sure that we, as owners, are comfortable and confident with his training.

The Crafty Pup was created to educate people how to properly train their dog! Focused on building a strong foundation of Basic Obedience I specialize in training puppies and dogs to fit into your lifestlye! I approach training different than most - I use all praise and no treats thus resulting in your dog listening to YOU and not performing commands for food! I can train your dog to do anything you need but my emphasis is giving you the best trained dog in the neighborhood. One that walks nicely, performs each command on the first attempt, doesn't jump on your guests and comes off leash when called on the first command! I believe A Well Trained Dog Starts With A Well Trained Owner!

Jimmy was wonderful with our Mini Goldendoodle for four-weeks of boarding and training when Teddy was 9 months old. Teddy had a lot of puppy energy that needed direction. Jimmy was communicative during the training with email and video updates. As a result of Jimmy’s training methods, our puppy has matured and become a more integrated part of our family. All of us learned important lessons from Jimmy during this training period, and he made a point to train all of our family members to make sure we could continue the strategies once we went back home. The follow up lessons were very helpful in keeping all of us on-track. I can’t recommend Jimmy enough!
I highly recommend Jimmy at The Crafty Pup. My 4 month old Golden Retriever puppy stayed with Jimmy for 3 weeks and came back a well behaved dog. Months later she continues to be very obedient and we are often complimented by strangers on how well behaved she is all the time. I would not hesitate sending a puppy as young as mine to Jimmy for training.
Jimmy is an awesome trainer. He understands dogs and how they think and react and why, therefore is able to correct and train behavior with Positive reinforcement. Jimmy has trained my dog and is aleays good for refreshers as you puppy or dog grows. He is very approachable and his instagram posts are extremely helpful. I recommend Jimmy to anyone with a dog, as most dogs can use training.
Best investment ever made for our pug pup! Jimmy is SO skilled at what he does and we cannot recommend him enough!!
