I have a 3 months and one week old puppy and he is licking everything... excessively. What to do
Well, there are many reasons this could be happening...I wish there was an easy thing I could tell you. It could be a medical issue, it could be he hasn't been taught not to yet...at 3 months old puppy classes are really really important. I would highly recommend them. Veterinary Behaviorists say that the most important thing you can do for the life of your puppy is get him into a well run puppy class. We also help with being individual behavior issues, so we could see the licking or ask more questions or observe and make a much better educated answer for you with solutions. We have a 6 month Shepard mix. He needs help with jumping and listening. Do you offer classes and what would the cost be. I am thinking of giving the classes as a gift.
Hi, Karla! Sounds like he'd be perfect for the Impulse Control class! Very reasonably priced, only $125 for 6 hours of training.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Canine Campus! I’ve tried at least 4 other trainers over the years and not one even compares! I started my puppy in early 2017 and we have never looked back! My new senior rescue is just starting out there and Katie has been so helpful to me every step of the way, since I got him! She even facilitated the meet and greet on her own time! All of the trainers are amazing! They always go above and beyond. My Zoey has learned so much like: sports, tricks, obedience, impulse control... I could go on and on! She has awards and titles, it’s amazing what TCC can do for your dog! They learn, have fun, build confidence, and if they stumble TCC helps you get them back on their paws!! You can’t go wrong with The Canine Campus! I will never go anywhere else! Give Liz, the receptionist a call, (she’s Pawesome!) or check out the classes on the website! I know you will find something that sparks your interest!

The trainers at this facility go above-and-beyond for pets and pet parents! The dedication, skills, and knowledge of the staff are so impressive. I would never go anywhere else for help training my dog! My dog exhibited some fear behavior as a puppy and I was nervous to seek help from someone, but after only the first 5 minutes of the first class I knew I had made the right choice. The trainers never made me feel shameful or embarrassed about "failing" to properly train my puppy. They were patient with me and my dog and helped me to learn how to work with my pup in positive ways to increase his confidence and promote good, healthy behavior. There are a variety of classes to help with behavior and fun classes too! It's SO worth the money and time spent - the prices are affordable and the times of classes work around my busy schedule.
