Joe does a phenomenal job training our pup Tony! From the very beginning he has been patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us and our dog succeed. My boyfriend and I travel a lot, so the Stay ‘n Train program at The Bark Stop has been amazing! One thing I genuinely appreciate is that its not just a drop off your dog and hope “he’s doing okay” boarding, it’s consistent updates from Joe throughout each day with video updates on our pups training and Joe explains each new thing they are working on. And as owners nothing feels better than knowing your fur baby is in great hands and getting the one on one time and attention they deserve. I couldn’t recommend The Bark Stop more!!

Working with Joe at The Bark Stop was such a great experience. He was kind, patient, and easy to work with, and his training methods truly worked with our dog, Jazzy. Losing my 18-year-old Pomeranian was truly heartbreaking, so when I brought home Mio—a four-month-old Pom puppy— I wasn’t sure my heart was ready but Mio found space and we started our journey together. I decided to spend a few months in my Orlando house (I’m usually up in Upstate New York), and honestly, even though I consider myself the most knowledgeable senior dog owner after so many years, I had completely forgotten just how challenging and exhausting the puppy stage can be! Mio is a non-stop ball of energy and curiosity, and while I adore him beyond words, there were days when his zest for life left me feeling completely outmatched and wondering if I was doing anything right. All I wanted was to give Mio the best possible start, so I started searching for a trainer right away when we arrived in Florida. That’s when Joe stepped into our story and truly made all the difference. From our very first phone call, I knew he was the right fit. I had spoken to several trainers because I wanted only the best for Mio, but Joe’s positive, encouraging attitude immediately put me at ease. We trained at The Bark Stop, at the park, and even visited local businesses so Mio could practice his skills in real-world settings. Watching Mio’s progress during our time in Florida has made me so proud. Together, with Joe’s expert guidance, we’ve come so far—he helped me bridge that gap between my senior-dog wisdom and the unique demands of raising a lively puppy. Joe isn’t just a wonderful trainer—he’s an incredible person. I recently got a new puppy, Maka, who was a 5 month toy-mini bernedoodle at the start of training. Joe was phenomenal to work with. Prior to starting training with him, Maka was pretty impulsive, so I was skeptical that we would get far in only 4 sessions. To my surprise, after only 1 session with Joe, he was able to work on so much with her. Joe is very patient, energetic, and prides himself on punishment-free tactics that truly work. I had some scheduling difficulties due to my job and Joe was very understanding and able to work with me on that. I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of a trainer as he truly has a passion for this. Thanks Joe!
