We’ve been working with Joe since late 2025, and I truly can’t say enough good things about him. We have two Jack Russells, so as you can imagine, lots of energy. We’ve tried a wide range of training tools over the years, but Joe’s gentle, force free approach is exactly what we were looking for. Even though our dogs are older, they’ve both made incredible progress. One of our biggest challenges was leash walking. They were both reactive and aggressive on walks. Through Joe’s guidance, working around other dogs, and using the right tools such as longer leashes, proper harnesses, and a treat pouch, walks have become so much more enjoyable for all of us. One of our dogs is very loving but also very vocal, especially when people come over. Joe has given us simple, effective tools to manage this, like lick mats, snuffle mats, and the place command, which have made a huge difference. We now feel confident and prepared instead of overwhelmed. Training has also been fun, which I didn’t expect. One of my favorite moments was taking my pup into a coffee shop and getting him a pup cup. I never thought that would be possible, and it’s something I will always remember and look forward to doing again. I would absolutely recommend The Bark Stop to anyone looking for dog training. And if we ever get another puppy, Joe will be my first call!
