The Balanced K-9

I cannot say enough great things about my (and my pups) experience with The Balanced K-9! Truly amazing! I have a 8 month old male pitbull/ lab mix who is extremely outgoing and playful - but was misbehaving, had very poor recall, separation anxiety, biting, you name it. He would bark when left alone, destroy anything he could grab, pee, etc. I was looking for a program that would provide him with the basic commands, as well as behavior modification. He was with the Balanced K-9 team for 4 weeks, and I was given updates (videos, pictures, etc) every few days! They explained the process before hand when we dropped him off- and answered all of my questions. He has been home for a few days and already is starting to pick up the change in environment well! Luciana, Chuck, and the team were very thorough and helpful when he came back, and gave us all of the tools we need to continue to reinforce his new way of living!!! I am so grateful for them - I was always stressed out and didnt know what to do anymore and now I can relax, work without disruption, leave the room without him barking, and he will only get better as time goes on! Thank you so so much!!! I would recommend them to everyone!!

We stopped by to see our Shihitzu, 2 weeks into her 3-week training. She was amazing. She was like our cuddly dog from before but with structure. Luciana and Chuck are caring, loving, knowledgeable trainers. Balanced K9 is highly recommended by myself, my wife and my lil Oreo. It would be a shame not to consider them forward your dog's training in the future. Thank you so much Balanced K9 for all your incredible help.

Luciana and Chuck were a pleasure to work with! They took the time to understand our specific concerns and catered training to our environment to set us up for success following the program. Our “go home” session was very thorough to make sure that we could replicate what the dogs learned with the trainers so they don’t fall back into bad habits once home. For every question we had, Luciana demonstrated the answer so that we could fully understand. We had a great experience with The Balanced K-9, we were comfortable knowing that our dogs were in a home with dog-lovers, and we loved getting update videos throughout. It is encouraging and motivating to see what my dog is capable of so that I can reinforce this new good behavior!

Luciana is truly a miracle worker when it comes to rehabilitating behaviorally challenged dogs. She took in my boy, Chester, after nearly a year in an animal shelter. He had severe fear aggression but with her skills and extensive knowledge of dogs she was able to rehabilitate him. He is now the sweetest, most loving companion who has been given a second chance. Without her I wonder what may have happened to by dog. Where there is a dog in need, there is Luciana. 10/10 would recommend!
