We couldn’t be happier with our experience at the Academy for Canine Behavior and Training. We enrolled our dog, Dexter, in their 3-week program to help address some of his anxiety and prepare him for the arrival of our baby this October, and the results have exceeded every expectation. One of the biggest differences we noticed came after they helped us get Dexter on the right medication and dosage. The improvement in his behavior was almost immediate, and when paired with their professional training, it has truly done wonders for him. He’s calmer, more confident, and much more responsive than ever before. What really sets this team apart is how much they genuinely care about every dog they work with. Throughout the entire program, Bryan, Nick and Madi kept us updated with videos, detailed instructions, and honest feedback about Dexter’s progress, how he was responding to both the training and his medication, and what they were working on each day. We always felt informed and involved. The turnover training session at the end of the program was fantastic. They took the time to make sure we understood everything they had taught Dexter and gave us the confidence and tools to continue reinforcing those behaviors at home. With continued consistency on our part, we feel very comfortable and confident about bringing our new baby home with Dexter in the house. We are incredibly grateful for everything the team has done for our family. If you’re looking for trainers who are knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly invested in your dog’s success, I can’t recommend the Academy for Canine Behavior and Training highly enough.
