Tazmanian K-9 Training

Tevin & team were fantastic. We brought him our 6mo old Rottweiler mix in for training. Our dog needed basic command training along with focus on aggression (mostly other dogs, but people too). The dog we got back after training was completely different than what we dropped off. Most importantly, Tevin made sure to train us as well so that we could continue to reinforce his teachings once our dog was back home. Highly recommend!!!

When we first started looking for someone to train a service dog for our autistic daughter, I honestly had no idea where to begin. I made a post on social media asking for recommendations, and someone tagged Tazmanian K9 Training. Shortly after, the owner, Tevin, reached out to me. We talked a little through Facebook and then set up a time to speak on the phone. He explained a little about himself, his business, how the training process works, and the costs involved. We also shared what we were looking for in a service dog for our daughter and the support we hoped a dog could provide. At the time we didn’t even have a puppy to train, so we all started looking. The very next day, Tevin texted me and said he had received a call from someone needing to rehome their puppy. The moment we heard about him, we knew Khai was meant to be our girl’s boy. Yesterday Khai officially came home to begin building an even stronger bond with Lydia and to start training in the places we visit every day. While we will still be attending training sessions at Tazmanian K9 Training, I cannot say enough about the incredible job they have done preparing Khai for his next adventure. Tevin and Mandy are two of the sweetest, most kind-hearted people I have ever met. Their dedication, knowledge, and genuine care for both their clients and their dogs are truly amazing. We adopted a puppy who was afraid of everything — and I mean everything.
