Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re always willing to listen and look for ways we can improve. That said, we do want to clarify a few things for anyone reading this review.<br><br>Because you were visiting for a meet the groomer/happy visit and had not used any of our grooming or training services, this review reflects a first impression of our facility rather than an experience with the services we provide. We’re sorry that your first impression was not a positive one, but we also hope future readers will understand a little more about who we are and what we’re about.<br><br>TacoMo is a small, family-run business. We are not a large, high-end salon, and we have never claimed to be. We are a close-knit team whose primary goal is to make dogs feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Our grooming philosophy is fear-free, force-free, and pain-free, and we put a tremendous amount of thought into the experience our canine clients have with us.<br><br>We also have some boundaries around our facility that are not a reflection of how welcoming we are. Like many businesses, our insurance and safety requirements mean that customers cannot freely enter every work area. Our own dogs and family members are also sometimes present at the shop, and we have a responsibility to protect their privacy as well.<br><br>Regarding the condition of the building, you happened to visit at the end of a busy workday, before our daily cleaning routine had been completed. We lease our building, so there are also some limitations we cannot simply remodel away, including less-than-ideal ventilation. We do our best to manage that environment with the resources available to us, including running a dehumidifier every day.<br><br>You asked whether we could groom your dogs in your kitchen, and we explained that we could not. We understand that every groomer operates differently, and we may simply not be the right fit for what you were looking for.<br><br>We are proud to be a small local business that has grown through caring for dogs and the people attached to them. We welcome constructive feedback, and we’ll continue working to make TacoMo better. Most importantly, we hope that anyone considering us will judge us by the experiences of the dogs and families we actually have the privilege of serving.<br><br>We genuinely wish you and your dogs all the best and hope you find a grooming experience that feels like the right fit for your family.
