Beyond grateful for finding Szegi Haus K9 Solutions, I only wish I had met them both sooner. I found these ladies by chance and it didn’t take long for me to feel comfortable with them and their methods of training. A lot of times trainers in the past made me feel like I am just another client to them where Szegi Haus K9 did not I felt like I was apart of the pack! They helped educate and teach me the tools for my reactive dog. I gained confidence as my dog’s handler, I learned that I won’t change a reactive dogs mind but I can pay better attention to the warning signs and change the direction to limit the reactivity.I look forward to continue learning and training with them. I was recommended to Szegi Haus K9 Solutions by a trusted and longtime friend who is experienced in all things involving dogs. My 2 year old boxer mix is a bucking bronco, and has already failed at one obedience school. This is expensive for me, so I watched several different YouTube videos, TikTok and otherwise. Considering myself somewhat knowledgeable about training a dog but not making much progress, I made another attempt with Szegi Haus. Training with Alex and Genny is not what I expected. It’s refreshing. They actually trained me, how to move my body and handle my dog correctly. The methods they taught me were unique and valuable, I’ve never heard of these techniques before. I learned so much about the reasons behind the actions as well, which helped me understand and improve. My girl was exhausted after each class, so I could tell her brain was on fire. The response I get from her continues to get stronger. She is well on her way to being welcome at Home Depot!

We loved working with Szegi Haus! We signed up for the beginner obedience course with our puppy, Nellie. She was a bit high strung and really improved over the course of the 5 day program. You of course have to work on things at home but Nellie took off and by graduation she improved immensely. Alex and Genny really know what they’re talking about and help through the entirety of the course. The environment can be distracting but it helps your dog develop so much more than just one on one sessions. Nellie was exposed to different dogs with different behaviors and energy levels and really learned to work around distractions. We plan to sign up for the intermediate and advance courses and really build her obedience level. I hope to have Nellie involved with dog sports, therapy work, and hunting. With the help of Szegi Haus, I believe we can reach all these things with our girl!
