If you are looking for dog training that works look no further! Tim at Synergy Cane9 has done wonders for me and my Lila girl. For the last year I have struggled so much with my highly reactive cattle dog. From leash pulling, barking at anything that moves, and nipping I was very discouraged and frustrated. Before any work was done, Tim spent 45 minutes on a phone call with me for a consultation and answered all of my questions. The time and thought put into just a phone consultation assured me he was where I needed to go. In just three months my entire relationship with my dog has changed. We can walk on a leash without being completely and utterly stressed out. I can bring her around other dogs and she will just observe and chill out at the park with me. Most importantly I have the understanding to allow my dog to process what she’s feeling in moments of stress and feel much more confident knowing how to lead her. Not only do I know this, but my dog does as well and the moment you notice that your dog knows you have their back is life-changing. We have more work to do but the change in just three months gives me so much confidence in our future.

We have been working with Tim at Synergy Cane9 for just short of a year and could not be happier with the results. After rescuing Millie (a Pitbull & Bully mix) we very quickly realized that we were going to need help getting her under control. Tim's approach is wholistic in the sense that he's training you and your dog at the same time. Your dog is not the only one that will be challenged to learn and grow. Tim knows the human and canine psychology piece of the process that is so important for a dog owner to understand in order to connect with their dog. Synergy Cane9 is the way to go if you are committed to being a responsible and educated dog owner. Millie is now our pride and joy. We get compliments on her behavior every single time we take her out in public. She walks well on a leash, she does not react to other dogs, we can take her to a restaurant to eat and she will lay down and behave with little disturbance. She does elevators and escalators and mall walking. We can take her off leash (when appropriate) with no fear of her running away. She does it all! If I could give zero stars I would, and this might be long. Tim (owner) was referred to us from someone we know to help us with an issue we were having with two of our dogs. We have 4 dogs and two of them were fighting. Worried we reached out after hearing he specialized in this sort of thing. Tim showed up for the consultation and said things that made sense and seemed like he would be able to help. He suggested that we do his 8 week course(the most expensive one). After he left my girlfriend told me he didn't collect payment waiting to hear what we decided on the class. I shot him a text with some questions I had thought of regarding him standing by his teachings and inquired if there was a military discount by chance because the classes were not cheap. A harmless question you would think...but apparently it gave him a bad "vibe". He took days to respond to me which in that time he contacted my girlfriend and collected payment for the consultation and then immediately told her that he was not a good fit to help us anymore. My girlfriend inquired on why all of a sudden he had a change of heart because he seemed so sure during the consultation that he could help us. He said it was because I had asked him to stand by his product(teachings) and if there were any discounts. If you are giving someone thousands of dollars to fix a problem you expect the problem to be solved after 2 months. It is completely within reason to ask about what recourse we have as a customer if the problem does not get resolved. Save yourself the money and headache and use someone else. Don't fall into the trap we did.
