They are a great company and I'm pretty sure they do handle PTSD dogs.

Community answer · Ryan Nicolaisen · 2020-09-21

Contact Susquehanna Service Dogs. If they don't train dogs for PTSD, they can probably tell you who does.

Question on Google
Do you have dogs waiting to be rescued?

This is not a Rescue Agency. The dogs here are specifically bred and trained to be service dogs

Question on Google
how much are the dog their ? and are there therapy dogs their because human therapy is not working ?

The cost depends on if you have a dog you want them to train. They train service dogs, meaning you would be able to take the dog in public. In my opinion a service dog can help in therapy but not a replacement for therapy. If you need more information you should contact SSD so all your questions can be answered by the organization. By contacting them the information will be correct. Good luck. You can learn more at their website.

They are a part of Keystone Human Services, and you may donate to SSD on Keystone's website. Just select them under their list of services.

Question on Google
Will SSD train your non allergic dog for you if you can’t walk or breathe well? Thank you.

I'm not sure about breathing, but mobility support animals are very helpful 🙂

They're terrible, they told me to double check the disability requirements when I was requesting to talk about the possibility of a service dog, I have PTSD, a long history of TBI, OCD, manic depressive disorder and an intraparenchymal hemmorhage/stroke. They said I need to recheck the requirements and they're not accepting forms this year anymore?? You'd think they'd have a decent reason why or they'd be able to direct me to somewhere else, I have doctors recommendations I just don't understand why they're so blunt and rude about responding to their customers. I didn't even get the word sorry back in the email, just get away basically. I can't believe them. I'm glad other people have had a positive experience but I'm not allowed to get a dog from them and I'd be hesitant to at this point anyway

Had my daughter on their waiting list for over 3 years. We did everything they asked - spent hours filling out forms and sending paperwork; made two day-long trips for interviews; and participated in CPEs. 2 weeks after they told us we were doing great and nearly there - I got an email that we were dropped because they were overextended. Whole family devastated, especially my disabled daughter. They didn't even have the decency to speak to us in person. Beware.
