I highly recommend Sura Dog Training. Their training process comes from a place of love, respect and understanding for the dog. They genuinely want to help. Recently, my dog's behavior had been getting out of control. He was expressing aggression toward anything new. I did my best working within the limits of my ability to try and address this myself, but we hit a point where progress stopped. I decided to look for a dog trainer to help, that's when I found Sura. They have a very thorough vetting process before they admit you into the program, they really want to make sure that they are a good match for you and your dog. We had our in person session and by the end of it, I felt confident I could continue the training myself to get my dog where he needed to be. They really mean it when they say that most clients only need one session. Thank you for your help. You have not only helped me address my dog's dangerous behavior, but you also helped us build a stronger bond.
Ty easily explained and provided solutions for our dogs reactive behavioral issues. He is clearly passionate for this work, including offering to answer questions and concerns in a hail storm. We recommend his help!
I would recommend these guys to anybody. They're great to work with very informative. Very patient with the animals and the owners. And make sure you fully understand the training that's being provided and even provide extra videos for you to follow up with.

Our German shepherd, Koda, had been experiencing anxiety for a few months. Seemed scared of everything in life, was afraid to go outside alone and always had her tail tucked like she was scared. Ty and Karen were both great when they came to the house to work with her. By the end of the training session, Koda seemed more relaxed her tail was noticeably less tucked, and more relaxed. It has been about a week and Koda has shown improvement every day. She already is much less afraid to be outside and her tail is perked back up. She overall is much happier. Ty and Karen were able to show me the basics of how to work with Koda and get her back to herself. Would highly recommend them!
