Ollie had such a great time with Nicole and learned so much. We both had a ton of fun :)

My dog is around 4 years old. We have to keep him on a leash in the yard he has plenty of room and plenty of leash but we can't let him just go and roam outside like the other dogs bc he leaves yard can you help?
Hi Kelsey: Yes, we can talk to you about boundary training. Feel free to call 256-890-1234 to discuss some options. Thanks for getting in touch!

I have a 4mo old gsdmix, he barks alot, nips, and jumps at everything. Will y'all be able to help me that?
While you dog is still young is a great time to begin to address these problems! We have a rescue dog, also a GSD mix, that we got when he was about two years old. Having the help of a professional trainer made it possible for us to keep and retrain him. It was hard but worth it!

I have puppies that I would like to give to place for they can be train for someone . How do I go by giving them to a place of service.
Hi Martha: I’m sorry but I don’t know of any organizations that take owner turn in dogs for training. You could try the local rescues to see if they can help you re-home them.

We just got our pup we know nothing about him but we need help from kitty training to obedience. How much will this cost? And how long does it take?
First off, I loved this dog school..A+ A+ A+😃. U will not be disappointed. I enrolled my dog Lucy because I could already tell she was pretty smart & was a fast learner on the basic little things I was teaching her @ home. There weren't any behavior issues 4 us 2 have 2 overcome, so that was a good foundation 2 build on. When Lucy & I signed up, we went through the Kindergarten Class (sort of like pre-school 4 dogs). Then after we graduated we signed up 4 the Elementary Class...sort of like being a 1st or 2nd grader. The K class was about 5 weeks @ reasonably priced, the E class ran 4 weeks & involved field trips 4 teaching socialization. Class size was 3 -4 dogs w/owners and 1 teacher 4 the group. We had Miss Callie & she was knowledgeable, attentive, completely open to questions & explanations. We had homework printouts for practice & to be ready 4 class (one day per week). If it pup is only 8-10 weeks old, I'm pretty sure the have some kind of new beginners lessons....

Do you do service dog/emotional support dog training?
Hi Becca: We do all the obedience training necessary for SDs and can administer the public access test, but not the task specific behaviors. Emotional Support dogs do not require any specific training--they're basically pet dogs that allow you to live/lodge in places that do not allow dogs if you have a "need" letter from your provider. https://www.ada.gov/regs2010/service_animal_qa.html

My dog is a little over a year. He's very eager to learn but is high energy. He gets a little mouthy. He also jumps on people alot. If I came in could you help me with that?
By taking one of mine in, he really learned a lot. I felt it was totally worth it and have recommended to others. It was fun to watch the other dogs learn too.
Community answer · Eric St. John · 2019-09-21
She can work miracles with dogs. No doubt she can stop the jumping.
Community answer · Michael Morgan · 2022-09-21
There were 3 other dogs in the class that my service dog in training Buck was in. They all were very high energy and jumped up on people. By the end of the elementary class they were all like completely different dogs and would only get better if they continue on with the intermediate class.

We'd be happy to help. If he's fine with strange dogs and strange people I think a group class--Elementary for his age-- would be a good start.

I just need some help so my dog Dale can start his service training.
Community answer · Tenshi Bunny · 2019-09-21
My dog is very hyper active and uncontrollable it seems, i have tried to train him but maybe i just don’t know how, if i bring him here do you think it would help any? or is there other alternatives i should take?
Potty training and barking has been the main issues with him. I’ll try it out! Thank you!
Community answer · Alexis Smith · 2019-09-21
Hi Alexis: There are lots of techniques for high energy dogs to gain focus, and getting those extra tools may be what you need. If your dog has no trouble (aggression, fear) of strange people and strange dogs then a group class would be a good place to start.
Community answer · Such A Good Dog · 2019-09-21
I have no doubt they can help. Give her a try, you will be surprised how quickly she can help.
Community answer · Michael Morgan · 2019-09-21
When it says "Meets for 5 weeks" does that mean the $99 is for 1 class each week for 5 weeks or is it $99 per session?
It is $99 for the whole five week session.
Community answer · Samantha · 2019-09-21
Hi Joseph: It's $99 for the 5 week session.
Community answer · Such A Good Dog · 2019-09-21

Absolutely

I have a 1 1/2 year old golden doodle that is wonderful around my kids. But when other kids or adults come over...he's aggressive. Recommendations?? Will this training help??
I would ask about private sessions. The trainers will know how to help with this behavior.
Community answer · brodie lowery · 2019-09-21
The trainers at Such a Good Dog are really good and feel most dogs can be trained. They will definitely answer your questions in person or with a phone call. But my Anatolian shepherd did great with the first class and we will probably be going back for the subsequent training.
Community answer · Tamara Gardner · 2019-09-21
How old does the dog need to be to start training?
I'm so sorry for the late reply! Our Kindergarten classes start at 8 weeks old after at least 1 round of vaccinations.

I was absolutely blown away by the training my cavapoo received in such a short amount of time! We opted for the board and train program, and honestly, I didn't think three days would make much of a difference. But boy, was I wrong! I loved receiving videos of her training sessions and it also helped me become a better coach for her. I highly recommend this program for all dog parents out there who treat their fur babies like their own children. She was so well cared for! ❤️ 🐶 🐾

Wow! What an incredible place. As a veteran with PTSD, they helped me train my first service dog Clark over the course of 18 months under their non-profit side of the house. Clark passed away from illness suddenly last August and my world came to a crashing halt. Every piece of independence he helped me with was gone and I retreated to barely being able to leave my house. I luckily had a friend who knew another veteran that bred white German Shepards as a non-profit to be family dogs for veteran families. My new puppy Kal came home with me the week before Christmas. Such a Good Dog reached out to get him started with training as early as possible. We have made it through their puppy socialization class, elementary, junior high and most recently high school. We will start working more social field trips this weekend as a group class at places like restaurants and such. Kal has come SOOO far. He’s always with me and people constantly comment on how well behaved he is even when he started going places at 4months old. He’s a 90lb 10month old beast now but has such a good demeanor and behavior that I don’t have to constantly worry he will be distracted by people or kids running around him and petting him as we volunteer at my kids school. This is 100% thanks to all the training refreshers we have been doing with Such a Good Dog, and the new owner Nicole did it for me all at no cost which has been one of the kindest things I’ve experienced since losing Clark. If you are looking to learn about how to get your dog to act appropriately, loose leash walk, ignore distractions, sit patiently in busy areas or anything else you may need - Such a Good Dog is the place to go. ALL the instructors are great but especially Nicole (owner) who has helped me regain control of my life. You will not be disappointed and I guarantee you will learn something helpful even if you just go through one of their courses. Don’t wait! Schedule a class online, email them, call them! You and your pup’s life will be better for it and you’ll have a better life long relationship with them too.
We had such a wonderful experience with Such a Good Dog! 🐾 My dog, Dash, learned so much and really enjoyed spending time with the other dogs. The environment was positive, welcoming, and clearly focused on helping every pup succeed. We’re so impressed with the progress Dash made and how much fun he had in the process. We will definitely be back! 🐶💛
We just went through Kindergarten with our puppy Luke. Love the small class size and Nicole takes the time to work with each dog while explaining and guiding. Will definitely look to the next class for him
