I would absolutely recommend Strutt Your Mutt! Hillary, our trainer, was not only incredibly knowledgable and professional, but she was also caring, patient, and understanding. She helped us to understand what our dog was thinking by being aware of her body movements and other signs. Truly invaluable! Additionally, she modified some of her "typical" training methods to better fit our dogs needs and personality. Strutt your mutt is top tier. It is not just “dog training,” it is teaching you as the owner how to be the best care taker for your beloved dog that you can be, and uses dog psychology to help your canine be the best version of himself/herself. You will learn SO MUCH through strutt your mutt, and it is knowledge that you will have and can apply to dogs for the rest of your life. If you want to learn how to cultivate the best relationship between you and your dog, strutt your mutt will show you the way. Their knowledge of dog psychology is amazing, and their ability to problem solve and create a plan for each individual dog just shows how experienced they are. They can handle anything from basic puppy manners to severe aggression and bite history. Their Facebook group page that you get access to is also very helpful in creating a community of like-minded people all working toward a similar goal and furthering your education when needed. I started with them for my severely reactive Great Dane who used to freak out at the sight, sound, or smell of another dog. Now, not only has he made amazing strides, but I was also able to use what I learned to rehab a dog I am fostering that prior was deemed “dog aggressive” to now co-exist peacefully with my Great Dane together in my home. My partner was skeptical of hiring a dog trainer, but now he will tell you it was “the best money ever spent.” Don't hesitate, the knowledge you will get from strutt your mutt is for life, and is life changing.

We had training today with Strutt Your Mutt, Hilary Briggs. Abby was perfect and our hard work has been a success. Abby really does give up everything to me when we are training. She has taught me she knows everything and makes it super easy for me. I have learned a lot more than just walking your dog, it takes hard work and perseverance to get where you want to be with your dog and to understand your dog 🐕 Working with Abby has been super fun, she’s very reliable and follows commands exactly. It’s been such an amazing experience for me personally.  I did a lot of research on dog training places, and Strutt Your Mutt was the best, according to their reviews. They did not disappoint!! I would like to give a big shout out to Matt, Erica, Hilary, and Autumn for the great work they do for all of our dogs when they are in their care.
