I was looking for places that specialize in off-leash (e-collar) training and came across Strategic K-9. After the evaluation, Joe said that my dog (a 2 year old, 25 pound mini goldendoodle) would be perfect for this training - and he was right! At the beginning of the training, my dog would pull on his leash, would NOT come when he was called, and would jump all over guests. It was embarrassing to say the least. We had tried a number of group classes that use treat-based training, and granted he learned 'sit, stay, down' already, but we just weren't making any progress. Joe was able to turn all of that around. My dog comes running as soon as he's called! He walks at my heel, both on and off leash! He no longer jumps up on my guests! And Joe even taught him how to fetch and drop the ball at my feet! I can't say enough good things about this program. Joe really knows and understands these animals. He knows exactly how to get through to them. And he knows how to train us humans on how to continue training our dogs! It was such a great experience and I highly recommend Strategic K9.
This is really a great program. Joe was so helpful and we noticed improvements in our dog’s behavior after every session. He just keeps getting better! So grateful for this service. Highly recommend
If you need your dog trained — this is the place to go. Highly recommend! My husband and I needed our dogs to be better trained, well behaved and to fix some unwanted behaviors before baby arrived and Joe helped so much! We have seen such a difference in our dogs, it’s amazing! Thanks so much again Joe!
100% recommend without any hesitation. Joe has now trained two of our Cane Corso dogs and the lessons and methodologies we (and the dogs) learned have proven to be extremely helpful. Don’t make the mistake of having anyone else train your dog - go to Strategic K-9 Training as your first choice, you won’t regret it!
