We had an amazing experience with Jerod and Stoic Canine. Before committing to a training program, Jerod visited our home and met our family and our dog, Nova. We were able to talk with him about our challenges with our Pyrenees/mixed girl. He observed her behaviors with us in our home and was able to quickly learn her personality and assess her. After reviewing our training options, we opted to send her to Stoic for a two-week boarding training stay at Stoic. During the training, Jerod brought our dog back and did some outdoor training with her on our property to familiarize her with her new skill set at our home. His communication during our dog’s stay was fantastic and he sent us videos and progress pictures regularly. On the last day, Jerod met with our family and spent a couple of hours teaching us the commands that our dog had learned over the two weeks. It was very comprehensive and insightful and we observed how much our dog learned. Most notably, was her reactivity and defiance had lessened- not by force, but by sound and effective training methods. Our girl is still is her very stubborn, sassy self, but with a whole new skill set that has been rewarding for us and her! We so happy with how our experience went with Stoic. One thing of note: if Jerod recommends certain products, get them! We had our own collar for our girl and found they are not all created equal - we love the collar he recommended. Hands down 5 out of 5 stars. Jerod’s passion, knowledge and experience cannot be beat.

Jared was great with my puppy, Archie! We did the day package instead of the boarding package. It was 6 weeks of 1 session a week, which was great because it gave us time between sessions to practice at home. Jared trained me how to be a dog parent as well, which was very helpful because this is my first puppy!! He also took Archie on field trips around town to help with socialization and manners in a public setting. Archie has gotten so much better at walking on the leash/heeling, decreased reactivity, and overall listening better to commands. Jared gave me lots of tools to help Archie become the best boy!! And if you can’t tell by the picture, Archie loved his training days!! Highly recommend.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Jared. He made the entire process feel comfortable and transparent from start to finish. The communication was excellent. We received videos daily, pictures and “how-to’s” when he was in the process of teaching something to our dog. Jared genuinely cares about the dogs that he works with and it was very apparent when we picked him up for the last time. What I appreciated the most is how Jared didn’t just train Jax. He took the time to make sure we understood the training and how to maintain it at home. That made a huge difference and gave us a lot of confidence moving forward. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone that’s looking for real, lasting results. 5 stars all around, thanks again Jared!
