⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We can’t recommend Jared at Stoic Canine enough! He is friendly, professional, personable, clear/helpful communication and truly cares about what he does—and about your dog. We sent our 4-month-old golden retriever puppy to him, and she went in with a chaotic entry, lots of barking, easy distraction, and inconsistent obedience. We struggled to train her on our own and knew we needed a professional to make sure things were done right. Every week when she came home, it was like we had a whole new dog. She listened to commands, had little to no accidents, learned to self-regulate her energy, and was genuinely more joyful to be around. The sign-up process was simple, and Jared even let us tour the facility before committing. His space was clean, impressive, and clearly set up with care. We are so relieved to no longer stress about our pup’s behavior, and we know that if we ever need tune-ups in the future, Jared is just a call away. Jared is amazing! We adopted a reactive 3 year old dog and our knowledge and experience were just not enough. Jared was able to quickly accommodate our schedule to get her behavior improved. We also have a 10 year old mix who's behavior wasn't perfect, but she was old and we just "dealt with it" by avoiding taking her places we know she would bark and pull on her leash. Jared worked with us and both our dogs and they both had immediate improvements in their behavior. With his and our continued work we have well behaved dogs and our stress has been greatly reduced because we aren't living around their reactivity anymore. Jared is attuned to the dogs and has the experience and knowledge to assist with various issues. I would recommend him to anyone!

Our 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier Gus Gus completed a 2 week board and train with Jared at Stoic Canine. Areas of focus included basic obedience, leash manners, reactivity, and jumping. Jared heard our concerns and individualized Gus Gus’s training. He is now a dream on the leash and has had noticeable improvement in his “puppy” manners and reactivity on walks. Jared took excellent care of Gus and he seemed to enjoy his training and spending time with Jared. Jared has remained in contact with us and continues to provide education and guidance for ongoing training at home. He has been very responsive to our inquiries. The board and train was an excellent decision for our family and we are extremely satisfied with the results and expect continued improvement with Jared’s expertise. The 10 day board and train with Jared was a huge help for my pup. It’s two consecutive Mon-Fri’s, with a weekend break in the middle where he brings your dog back. This is awesome because during the weekend you get to try to replicate his methods at home before the course is finished. My dog came back home significantly more confident, responsive and behaved than when he left. No more constant pulling on the leash, jumping, or excessive barking. I was updated frequently with notes, pictures, and pointers on how to build on the progress made during his stay. If you’re unsure how to improve your dog’s behavior, or just don’t have the time, I highly recommend Stoic Canine as a solution for you and your dog. Jared is a super nice guy, very friendly and knowledgeable about correcting unwanted behaviors and making obedience something your dog desires as much as you.
