FirstBarkJared is very professional and takes great pride and enthusiasm in his duties as owner, trainer and kennel keeper. We leave our 3 year old Rottweiler with Jared and always know we have left him in great hands. His kennel is always neat and clean. Jared always lets us know how our boy is doing whether it is a long weekend stay or a long week stay.

I only take in a handful of dogs at one time in order to maximize safety, training and growth opportunities. I personalize programs based on owner needs, whether you’re starting with a new puppy, a rescue, or addressing specific behavioral challenges. At Stoic Canine, we believe that investing in training is an investment in your dog’s lifelong success. We wanted to make sure Apollo had a strong foundation from puppyhood into adulthood. Jared brought structure to his obedience and really let Apollo show how capable and smart he is. At 6 months old, nipping and biting have been our biggest hurdles, and we’ve learned effective ways to manage and improve it. We did a two-week board and train (dropping him off Monday mornings and picking him up for the weekend in between). That setup was perfect bc it gave us time to practice what we learned at home, then come back with better insight and questions to share with Jared the following week. Super grateful for the guidance!
