I highly recommend BIDT to anyone who wants to train their dog new tricks or to just become a more obedient, well-mannered dog. I signed up my 3 month old corgi puppy for Puppy Day School and Puppy Class Part 1 bundle package. I noticed after a few weeks that Charlie is more care-free when I try to hug him/handle him, he is able to go up and down stairs like a pro, and learned new tricks such as sit without me ever having to teach him. The amount of resources, books, and reading BIDT gives you is a lot and it all helps out! Don't be worried about this though because usually most of the classes at BIDT are a few weeks long so you have ample time to complete each resource or homework. Even though most of their resources/homework is all publicly available on their website, it is better to sign your dog up for classes to get the actual experience. Each dog is different and may require tailored training that the resources/homework does not teach you. For example, since my dog is a corgi with short legs, the trainers recommended I teach Charlie the Down command differently than all the other dogs with the usual lure they use. This is also my first time owning a dog/puppy of my own so I am a complete newbie when it comes to general knowledge on dogs. BIDT school brings tremendous value for newbies out there like me because not only does your dog learn, but you do too on general dog knowledge - enrichment types, socialization, life stages of dogs, different types of toys and treats out in the world, etc... Also, I really love BIDT because they do photo ops (first day of school/graduation), provide report cards for Puppy Day School students, and even have their own boutique with items that you cannot find anywhere in the local area (i.e. Pet Deli Liver Loaf, and their own relaxation mat and training pouches). If youre someone that not only wants to learn but also have keepsake/sentimental items, BIDT has got you covered. Lastly, the only thing I would recommend that BIDT to do to improve is to set up their own online store on their website. I see myself moving out of state within the next year and am going to be sad that I wont be able to find Pet Deli Liver Loaf for Charlie in the midwest area. Also, I think the Believe In Dog logo T-shirts that all trainers wear is so bad ass and I would definitely buy one for myself if they offered it in their boutique or possible online store one day.

We’ve enrolled our puppy to their Basic Manners class and saw such great improvement throughout the six weeks. We also saw improvement with the other puppies that took the class with us. They teach you and your dog with such great patience and knowledge. They treat each puppy as if they were their own and really teach you up to the smallest things and behaviors that our dogs tend to show. They will help you and your dog communicate to each other and make the bond even stronger 😊 We will definitely continue training with them and highly recommend them!
