Steady Paws

Jon did a great job with training my little chihuahua mix and teaching me how to train her! He made himself available to any questions I had throughout the 6 weeks of obedience sessions. Also, he made the training fun between myself and my pup. I learned, not only how to correct certain behavior such as unwanted barking, but also, concepts I will be able to apply to future pets. I would highly recommend his training!

Before I took my dog to John at Steady Paws I was considering rehoming her. She was driving me and my husband nuts. She didnt listen and was generally a brat. John suggested Board & Train so that's what we did. When Bailey came home everything was different. She is now a respectful member of our household. I'm amazed by the transformation! My dog Ruby is an independent, does what she wants kind of girl. I had extra anxiety due to some responses she had to other dogs when walking and her desire to run at every opportunity. Contacted Steady Paws, got nearly an immediate response. After the evaluation, turns out she wasn’t such a bad girl. With a little guidance and treat motivation she got some skills that have my friends asking me if she’s the same dog. To be fair, training was also mostly for me. Jon heard that and worked through it with me. Glad I made this decision. It has really cut a good deal of stress out of my life.
