STAT K9 Training

After many disappointing calls and appointments with trainers I finally found Stat K9 Training and Tina. From the initial phone conversation with Tina I knew I found Blue's trainer. Blue is 120 lb 3 year old rescue Pitbull, who loves to jump to say hi and pulls on walks. Even though we thought we were experienced dog parents, our shelter dog became king of our castle quickly and walked all over us... literally. We enrolled Blue in the 3 week program and were excited to watch Blue's progress everyday on the video updates. Is that really Blue in "Place"? Each video Tina spoke directly to us, addressing issues that were our concern, told us how when he gets home we are to handle the issues. I could at any time message her with questions and she always responded. The communication between Tina and us was exceptional. Seeing Blue live and on video in training with his tail wagging made our day. Blue has been home now for 3 weeks. We call him Mr. Manners now thanks to Tina. The sweet 120lb maniac who would pull me as I walked him to every pole, fence and tree to mark now heels by my side till I tell him "break" to go pee. lol He sits and waits for people to pet him instead of jumping on them and one of our favorites lays in place on his cot while we eat instead of slobbering on us begging for food. Not only do we have a good looking Pitbull but we have a well mannered one thanks to Tina and STAT K9 Training. We cannot thank her enough. Tina loves what she does and it shows by her care and attention to your dog and both you and the dogs safety. She did not try to sell me packages and programs from the minute we spoke, in fact she told me what work was involved when Blue got home and not to waste my money if we weren't willing to do the work. After my dog bit my son we talked to several trainers. The only one that gave it to me straight was Tina. Desi spent at least a month in the program and was taught to make better choices. We were taught to not put her in a situation she is ill equipped to manage. Six months later and she is still maintaining the lessons she learned and we remain consistent in enforcing them. She is still a twitchy a$$ but a well behaved one.

We were very close to taking our 6 month old Boxer back to the breeder when Tina was recommended to us. She sensed how frustrated we were so she adjusted her schedule quickly to take Oliver on for training. It truly was the best thing we could have done. We learned so many valuable lessons (we were doing a lot of things wrong). We followed her suggestions and schedule when he came home. Oliver is still a work in progress but without Tina’s training I’m not sure he would still be part of our family. We highly recommend her especially if you have a “wild child” like we do, or did have!! Thank you, Tina!
