FirstBarkStar Dog is so great for our dog Cali. She gets so excited when we get there. She always has a blast and is so well taken care of. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love taking our dog, Cali, to Star Dog. The owner and staff are very friendly and great at what they do. Cali has the best time at day care, and when she gets home she is absolutely wiped out for a full day after. When we first started taking her there, she was pulling a lot when we were walking her and one of the trainers recommended a collar that has been a game changer. Thank you to the staff at Star Dog for keeping our dog so happy!

I adopted a dog from the humane society that needed some help with socialization. I brought my dog to Star Dog for training. I was told that my dog was a pit bull (not a retriever mix as the humane society said), and that I needed to take him back to the humane society. I was told that pit bulls are known for extermination and would not be allowed in the gym. Also I was told to get a golden doodle or King Charles Cavalier. If you're looking for a trainer that will help train your dog, your dog will not be welcome here if it has pit bull features and is over 1 yr old (as told to me by the owner). My dog is a ball fetcher and she gets so excited when we pull in Star Dog’s parking lot. It is the perfect place for her to spend an occasional day and get worn out. And the water buckets are a perk as she is part lab. The staff is very attentive and I would never take Maggie anywhere else.
Just drove past this place and they had several dogs outside in the rain and cold by themselves under no cover. It’s currently 38 degrees and sleeting rain with snow on the forecast. So HORRIBLE to do that to a dog. I would never bring my dog here.
