The staff and Brandon at Stand proud dog training are excellent and responsive to our needs with our yorkie. He recently went blind and became a very insecure and fearful dog. During his long month stay the staff kept me informed every step of the way even sent me pictures of my little guy. After his stay he is a much more confident dog and is navigating life so much better. He still has work to do but the support I am still getting from stand proud dog is like no other training facility I have been too. I would 100% recommend them to anyone who needs help with their dogs.

Stand Proud is amazing! I rescued my sweet boy Chance from the Contra Costa county pound on his Euthanasia date. He is a wonderful boy but he is very high energy and quite strong. He had a problem with reactivity towards other dogs. It was very difficult to walk him. I have never done a board and train before and was very nervous to send my baby away! Danielle and Debbie were wonderful and sent me multiple pictures and updates! When we picked him up one of his trainer's Ian spent an hour with us showing everything he learned and teaching us how to continue his training at home. It was obvious Chance was treated very well as he was very happy and affectionate towards Ian. He is now a calmer, happier, very obedient boy! He no longer lunges and barks at other dogs passing by. I highly recommend! Thank you Stand Proud!

The best dog trainers in Reno! They have been patient and helpful with our two dogs and my wife and I. The dogs are able to be on and off leash in public areas and the dogs are comfortable around other dogs which is all owed to Stand Proud for their commitment to provide quality care and training for our pups!! It has been almost a year since Stand Proud started working with us & our pup, Bennie. We used a board & train program to help Bennie through some anxiety/fear and to get my man and I on a consistent page when training/working with our dog on and off leash. After the training, Bennie has become a more and more confident, happy, silly dog. I was beaming with pride when I rec'd a compliment about how good my dog is, as we walked him off-leash up at Mt Rose...and again, when he sat calmly in his place under my chair at an outdoor eatery. StandProud has been very responsive when we have had follow-up questions about behaviors and training. I will use them again, when we get a 2nd dog!

We are so happy with the Board and Train program at Stand Proud Dog Training. We have a 3 yr old rescue German Shephard/Husky (Mattie) who had no training and no manners prior to coming to Stand Proud. We also have her 2 pups who are 20 months old. All dogs are doing so well, they recall, sit, place, etc. The sessions after the training are so helpful too. Brandon has been amazing with helping train us as well! We highly recommend!
