Stable K9 Training

Brooke was fantastic to work with. She did an in home review first and properly set expectations for what would be worked on with our dog Niko. Once she had him on site for training and board she provided updates and how things were going. From the start the communication was great and the training itself has been extremely helpful for our dog. We know what we need to work on and how to do it to be successful! We have used Brooke for all her offerings, including pack walk/group classes, individual sessions, and also board and train. It has been so great to get the specific actions/work we need to do for our dog's very specific set of needs, and it really has been remarkable how much it has made our dog behave differently. She's become attuned to her handler, knows the behavior we expect, and we know what to watch out for with her signs of reactivity. The specific things we were suggested to do were to give much more structure to our dog, and to remove the opportunity to react or misbehave. This has definitely helped us and our dog a lot! She's not perfect still, but she's really so far ahead of where she was when we started with Brooke. Would definitely recommend!

I had an incredible experience with Brooke at Stable K9 Training. Her expertise and skills regarding dog behavior and training are evident from the first consultation to the final results. At our initial meeting, Brooke took the time to understand my concerns and desired outcomes, and then created a customized plan that perfectly addressed my dog and my family’s needs. After two-weeks of board and train, we picked up Niles (our 2-year-old Doberman) and he is truly a different dog. At pickup, Brooke took the time to explain the concepts that she’d introduced during training and showed us how to implement them at home. In two short weeks, Niles transformed from a rambunctious pushy “teenager” dog to a much more focused and confident gentleman. He is extremely improved with leash control and walking is now a pleasure rather than a chore. The “place” command is a game changer for my family. We are now able to eat dinner with Niles in the same room (on his “place” cot) without any begging or trying to steal food off plates. Brooke worked to desensitize Niles to nail trimming as well. Previously we had to take him to the vet for a sedated nail trim. I am proud to say that for the first time ever, I was able to trim nails on all four of his paws! Niles is still a work in progress, but I am absolutely thrilled with the groundwork that has been laid by Brooke and Stable K9 training. I cannot say enough great things about this training program, and wholeheartedly recommend this company to any dog owner!

I can't say enough good things about Brooke and the work she did with our dog, Murphy, during his board and train at Stable K9. The transformation in Murphy was nothing short of amazing. From the moment he came home, it was clear that he was a much more stable dog. Walks, which used to be a challenge, are now an absolute joy—they’ve been a night and day difference. He responds to commands so much better, making our day-to-day interactions smoother and more enjoyable. Brooke's expertise and dedication really shine through in the results, and I couldn't be happier with the training Brooke provided. Highly recommend!
