Spot-On K9 Training

Me and my pup Harvey had the absolute pleasure of working with Stephen. Stephen and Harvey and I had an overall focus on obedience, he showed me how to teach Harvey things like sitting on command, out, place, etc. Stephen is not just teaching your dog he is teaching you. Stephen met Harvey and me when Harvey was about 4 months old, Harvey and me finished his training in about two months, Harvey is now a year and 2 months old and everywhere i go I've received compliments on his temperament, his ability to execute commands quickly and confidently and how patient he is, Harvey has just been called an all around good boy. Stephen has helped me turn my dog into his best self. Stephen Doesn't just do training with your dog he is training you to train your dog and teaching you a life skill you just have to put in the effort, Stephen will be with you every step of the way be it through emails or the resources he gives out links to the best supplies and weekly informational guidebooks about dogs and the training you are working on with him. I'm no trainer but i have taught many a friends dog some new tricks thanks to my training with Harvey and Stephen and resources Stephen gave me. disclaimer Stephen training does not make you a dog trainer he gives you the ability to train your dog. Stephen taught me how to build a strong relationship between me, Harvey, and my 3 cats that also really worked out because before i met Stephen they were relentlessly trying to terrorize the pup now i can leave them to hang out with each other for hours. Stephen is truly the Best of the Best.

I have a lovely and anxious Jindo rescue. I reached out to Stephen because I wanted to further build up her confidence and help her reach her full potential. Stephen helped me better understand how to communicate with my dog through leash training, leadership through concise verbal commands, and positive body language. Stephen himself was also great at building rapport with my girl who is very wary of people in general. He knew exactly how to approach her. She was already building trust with him by the second session. I highly recommend Stephen for those looking for structured guidance and definitive results for dog training.

I can’t thank Stephen enough for his help in training Milo for off-leash with e-collar. I’d been through a couple of training programs before but the balanced approach that Stephen uses provided the discipline needed to get Milo to that next level. Before training with Stephen, I was having a really hard time walking him (lots of pulling) and going off leash became impossible after several incidents in the park (including ball stealing (and eating), darting out in front of a moving vehicle and eating a plastic bag filled with something I couldn’t see). In just a short time working with Stephen, the results were almost instantaneous and continued to grow with time. Spending time training has deepened our bond and made walks more fun and it’s so rewarding now to be able to go to the park and watch him play knowing I can trust him to listen to me.
