Does this training service use ecollars or prong collars?

Hi Jim we use multiple tools in training including toys and treats along with gentle methods utilizing the ecollar but on very low levels that do not hurt the dog and is not used to punish the dog at all. Everything is done through motivation so the behaviors are natural and offered.

We experienced some issues with our dog and reactivity towards other dogs and Mike came to our house and did an impressive free demo with our dog. He recommended the 1 week board and train. We immediately noticed a demeanor change in Tyson when we brought him home but most importantly we feel like Spot On Dog Training gave us the tools we need to work with our dog. They offer lifetime support when we need it so if we are struggling or our dog is struggling we can pick up the phone. I love that they don’t just take your money and say good luck when the training session is over.

What a great experience! Our puppy was given lots of love and special attention during his stay. We got a happy, healthy, smart dog back when we picked him up. The whole team is patient and caring. I highly recommend!

This place is phenomenal. The staff and owner are absolutely amazing, genuine, kindhearted, helpful, insightful, and dog loving people. We just picked up our 5 month old Newfoundland from them that did a board and train, and I would recommend them to anyone. I wish I could put in words the amount of appreciation I have for the staff. Before we dropped our pup off we got every single detail about what was happening and what they did there as far as what kind of training, the details (and tour) of the BEAUTIFUL facility they have, what type of training, different types of dogs they train (reactive, adults, puppies, nonreactive), and the people who would be training them. While she was there we got daily updates about how their day went with pictures! When we picked her up, they spent TWO hours telling us every detail, answering every question, and showing us we had to do in order to go home and be able to continue the training for her!!! If you are looking for people who will treat your dog like their own and train them well, this place is for you. If we ever decide to get another dog I will be coming back back 10000%!!!!

Best decision we have made. We did the 1 week board and train and it was worth every penny, our dog has improved in every aspect they promised. Communication was amazing for the week she was with Spot On daily pictures and updates! Highly recommend
