Spirited Canine Boarding and Training

It only took 3 dog training sessions of knowledge, patience, kindness from Christina to build my confidence, skills and relax. My dog, Iggy is more relaxed, obedient and less reactive and aggressive towards other dogs on walks. I’m not as afraid to walk him where other dogs are so we can now venture out to new places. I also like that she was open to the type of training method I was most comfortable with. I highly recommend Christina!!

My mini Sheepadoodle, Brady, is very sweet but had no “off” button. We started working with Christina when Brady was only 10 weeks old to get tips and tricks for basic training such as “sit” and “down.” Christina was wonderful—always available in person or by text whenever we had a question or concern. As Brady grew older, his energy only increased. While he is the sweetest dog, he believed (and still believes) that everyone and everything is his best friend. It quickly became Brady’s world, and we were all just living in it. We needed help gaining control over his boundless playfulness. We decided to send Brady to Christina’s three-week board-and-train program, and it was the best decision we ever made. While Brady was there, we received regular updates and pictures. It also happened to be his first birthday, and Christina did something special for him—showing how much she truly cares for and loves each dog she works with. When it was time to pick Brady up, Christina provided us with a detailed report explaining his progress, what he had learned, and how to continue his training at home. She spent hours with us going over the report and answering every question we had. Now, although Brady is still his fun, playful self, we have the tools to manage his energy and behavior. Kali spent 3 weeks with Christina (board and train) and came back a different dog! She was a nervous dog and very leash reactive and constantly pulled but now I look forward to our walks. I will forever be grateful for how patient she was with Kali and the love she has shown in caring for and training her. Also, in August, I had a family emergency and needed to travel out of town with no notice. I texted Christina, she replied immediately and in less than 2 hrs I was able to drop her off. Knowing that Kali was taken care of in a safe place with someone I trust is priceless. I am so happy I found Spirited Canines and would recommend to anyone looking for boarding, training or board and train!
