Southern Star Dog Training

We did the three-week board and train program with our two German Shorthaired Pointers, Blu and Osa, when they were about nine months old, and it completely changed the game for us. Not only did they make incredible progress, but we learned so much as owners. One of the biggest takeaways was learning how to clearly communicate with our dogs, which was fundamental to successfully putting their training into practice at home. Braylee and Maggie reinforced the things that we had worked on at home and taught them so much more on top of that. They finally know manners and how to respect personal space. We also love how well they’ve done off leash and e-collar trained. Having confidence as their owners is such a nice feeling and we couldn’t be more grateful for this program!

My dog receives amazing care and training from Braylee and Maggie! The girls are extremely helpful, well-spoken, and provide a lot of support during and after training. I got my dog from a shelter and he had no idea how to interact with other dogs. He would immediately mount dogs when he saw them but after training he is now really good with other dogs and has learned how to properly play! My dog has the best time when he comes for daycare and his behavior is so much better.
