Sound Dog Connection is devoted to enhancing the bond between humans and dogs through science based training (applied behavior analysis). We specialize in changing fearful behavior and helping dogs labeled as reactive or aggressive. We offer K9 Nose Work® sessions for fun along with enrichment for dogs of all ages. (We have sessions just for senior dogs)

I don’t have a fenced yard. Can I bring my dog to you for in person training.
I offer in person sessions at my studio in Gig Harbor and virtual sessions, I do not come the the home.

We begin with a virtual session. I do have location I can use in Gig Harbor, so as some point we can meet there. For now I begin with a Zoom session, where we discuss the issues and concerns and begin the training. These session are getting excellent reviews, check out the testimonial section on my site:)

Ann Waterbury is an exceptional behaviorist who helps with a variety of problems and behaviors in dogs. Our Doberman, Lark, has difficulty meeting other dogs and strangers. She acts as though she might attack even though at home she is a love. Ann helped us identify the underlying reasons for her behavior and helped to create a plan of action. The thing I like best about Ann is she is just as quick to support my instincts of what is best for my dog as she is to tell me when I need to change my focus. She wants the best for both me and Lark and looks at the whole picture of our situation. Ann can help you with whatever problem you are having or what you want t to improve.
