SOS K9 Training

I rescued my dog when she was a year old. She lived on the streets in Aruba for the first 8 months of her life. She came to me at one year old a happy girl but resource guarded, was fear aggressive toward other dogs, and extremely reactive. We started working with Rameloh in July 2023 when she was almost 4. We started with private sessions with him. He was so knowledgeable and hands on, he taught me how to handle her, teach her and help her. We started with basics and then worked until she mastered the higher level skills we had been working on. The best part is after our private training sessions were over, we started going to Rameloh’s group classes and began learning more skills and building upon the old skills with distractions and other dogs. People always comment on how well behaved she is when we are out in public and say that their dog could never be like that and I always recommend SOS K9 Training. Rameloh and his team are the best. Monty loves Melo, as soon as I say, “Wanna go see Melo?” she runs straight for the door! My dog has come such a long way and I can confidently say if you work with SOS K9 you will see such a difference with your dog!

We have had other trainers and tried ourselves with YouTube, but saw no real results until we started working with Rahmeloh. Our 90 lb. Goldendoodle and 40 lb Bernedoodle were running the house, but not anymore. Rahmeloh and Chris are professional, punctual, and most importantly patient. We have a 2 year old pittie who was a very sweet boy when we got him when he was 1. While my husband and I tried to train him in that first year, he did well but we knew he needed a lot more work especially recalling and leash walking since he still pulled ALOT. We were referred by multiple people to SOS training, even random strangers, and decided to try it out. While it was really hard having my baby gone for his residency training for 2 weeks, he came back to us such a different dog. His transformation was amazing! Melo is an extremely patient person and shows much love and compassion to my dog which I appreciate, but still was firm when it came to commands. He has taught our family how to communicate effectively with our dog. What cues to look for, hand signaling, and constant training to have our baby be as successful as possible because of his breed. Even after his training there are weekly training sessions with other SOS alumni where we go through different distractions and recalls while there are still other dogs which helps reinforce the training for not just the dog but especially the dog owner. I would highly recommend hiring SOS dog training!!!
