SOS K9 Training

My wife and I hired Mello to train our 8 year old pitbull mix. When we first met for a consult he did a demo for us with his dog and said if we take the training seriously our dog will be able to do exactly what his dog did. I didn’t think it was possible but I was completely wrong. Mello exercises Patience, and professionalism, with your dog and with you. He passes on his vast knowledge of training and makes the experience fun and effortless. I have already recommended him to friends and to people who have stopped me in the street while walking my dog asking me “how did you get your dog to behave like that” the answer is Mello and SOS K9. Can’t recommend him enough.

We sent our 7 month old puppy, George to Rahmelo for the 10 day boarding/training and it was by far the best thing we could’ve done for ourselves and our boy. George came back the same happy, playful puppy, but he was new and improved. What meant the most to us is that we never once felt that George wasn’t safe or in the best hands when he was away from us. Melo kept us updated daily on his progress and sent multiple videos/pictures. Melo is patient, calm and persistent. He worked with us one on one after the 10 days to ensure George would listen to our commands in multiple different scenarios and distractions. He is detailed and thorough and explains the why behind each technique he implements. We will be continuing our training sessions with Melo into the new year because he is too valuable not to. Sending Chip, my rescued 5-month-old puppy, to SOS K9 training for a 10-day boarding and training experience was a decision I was anxious about initially. It was really nice to see Chip responding positively to the training, improving his obedience while retaining his playful and cuddly nature.
