Solid K9 Training Academy

I have a 120 lb Cane Corso named Vader who is the very dog used to create their Course called Rehabbing a Fearful, Nervous Dog - A Real-Life Example. I could not take my dog anywhere without him taking out tables and chairs to keep from being approached. Now I go everywhere and he will just lay down and not move. He does not want to be touched by people and that is fine. I advocate for him and he knows that. Jeff and Joel are the best. Their approach is balanced. TEN STARS from me! Jeff and Joelle did a fantastic job last January getting my 12 mo GSD reliably off leash, in just 2 weeks.We couldn't be more pleased with the work they did with him, and would unreservedly recommend them for either regular obedience training or troubleshooting and correcting problem behaviors. Then, this past November we boarded both my GSDs at the Solid K9 board and train facility with Courtney while we were on vacation for 10 days. They were taken excellent care of and held to high standards. I highly recommend Solid K9 for boarding. We are so glad Solid K9 moved to Central FL!

I highly recommend Solid K9 Training. Our lives have been completely transformed by having our dogs attend their board and train program. I reached out to Jeff and Joelle after our puppies, attended ab boarding train at six months old only to come back or behaved then when we sent them. The dogs were highly reactive to everything. After my first conversation with Jeff, I Knew that we had found the help we needed. We watched as Theo and Bo transformed into new dogs during their board and train. The day they came home Jeff and Joelle trained our family, which was the most important piece of the training. We felt the confidence and knowledge to move forward and having off leash trained dogs. Our dogs now go everywhere with us a trip to Lowe’s, no problem sit down at the coffee shop with friends no problem, and they love relaxing on the grass at the beach. We cannot thank Solid K9 Academy, enough! Every time I receive a compliment about how we behaved our dogs are I let that person know about Solid K9 Academia. Also if you ever are lucky enough to have the chance to attend a seminar, please make sure you do. It is life-changing.

I cannot recommend Solid K9 Training enough. I drove my dog 2700 miles across the country to be trained by them and they did not disappoint. For context, my dog has intense, major fear. That fear became reactivity against anything that moved. We couldn’t function. Couldn’t take her on a walk, couldn’t take her to a coffee shop with us, and couldn’t take her with us on vacation either. All of that changed after her training. I drove back home another 2700 miles, and our life drastically improved. My fiancée and I’s mental health improved. We could have friends over again, we could go out for dinner or a date night together. And the go home experience and what happened after the board and train is what put it over the top of professional, kind hearted, and wonderful humans that are Solid K9 Training. It has been over two months, almost three, since I brought my dog home and I can still reach out and ask questions if I need help troubleshooting. My dog broke her toe a little over a month ago and it has been continuous communication on maintaining her training, holding her accountable, while also being mindful of the fact that she is an injured animal. They didn’t just train my dog and go “here’s your dog, have fun,” but they made sure we got every question answered and felt entirely comfortable over a three hour go home session before we left. They gave us the ability to not have to drug our dog just to go to the grocery store. They gave us the ability to have a life again. Most importantly, they gave us a life that included our dog.
