Highly recommend Sam! Love his approach to dog training, very effective and compassionate. He helped us introduce a new puppy into our home with a very territorial older dog, and after just two sessions, we were able to allow them to peacefully coexist. Our very distrusting older dog warmed to Sam within the first 10 mins! He also helped us tremendously in how our whole family should react to the puppy to ensure he is well-mannered. Thank you Sam!!

For years I was hesitant to leave my dogs with anyone, even just for boarding. We had always heard wonderful things about Sam, as he was raised in this industry and has more experience than most local trainers combined. Sam is without a doubt the only trainer in this state I would trust to board and train my high maintenance dogs. He provides frequent updates and clear communication. His in-home kennel is spacious, extremely clean and safe - and rest assured, any pup lucky enough to go there will receive tons of love and attention! Many kennel environments are stressful, loud and overwhelming, but what he provides is essentially a vacation for the dogs as well. On top of that, his training methods will truly take any dog to their full potential, and we are so grateful that we found him!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the board and train program Ellie just completed! I had already had one in home session with Sam and knew from the 5 five minutes, she was in great hands. Sam took the time to understand Ellie’s unique personality and focused the program to work on any concerns or struggle I was having. Before the board and train, Ellie struggled with pulling on walks, basic obedience, and continuous biting. Now, she’s walking calmly beside me, responding to commands, and handling new situations better than she ever has. It’s been such a joy to see how much happier and more well-behaved she is! Sam sent as many updates as I asked for and would answer any questions. I got videos and pictures daily. It really reassured me that we made the right choice. If you’re considering a board and train for your dog, I wholeheartedly recommend this program. Ellie’s experience has been absolutely amazing and I feel like I have a constant support with Sam. He always answers any questions I have and as a new dog mom it is really reassuring to have someone that can help develop Ellie as she grows. Before booking any trip in the future my first call will be to Sam to see when he has availability. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pup.
