Julie with Smarty Paws is AWESOME! She truly has a passion for dogs and is good with humans too 😊 She remembers every dog’s name, their personalities and what they are working on. In the beginning she may come off as kinda stern but trust me she is kind, patient, wise and loves your dog. Her goal is for them to be their best self and thrive and for you to have a great relationship with your dog. She is full of tips and tricks to help you! My boy Ollie has been going to Boot Camp once a week since he was 5 months old (he is now 8 months) and he also just graduated L1 training and has started L2. He is always excited to see Julie and he loves to learn new things. He is building confidence and we are learning so much together which is great for our bond also.

Julie at SmartyPaws is incredible! She is truly the Yoda when it comes to dog training. My pup has been coming to her bootcamp and Obedience classes levels 1-3. The change in my dogs obedience to me and anxiety have been night and day difference. Julie is so kind, patient, she is a great teacher to dogs and dog parents. Her classes are always fun and interactive. I can’t wait to keep coming to her future classes!

The staff at Smarty Paws are amazing! My 5 year old akita-husky who is not very friendly with people goes to both their bootcamp and obedience classes. It’s been a game changer! Their staff know just how to handle him and have greatly helped us improve his obedience and people skills. We are especially grateful to Julie who has been our dog’s obedience trainer. Her classes are incredibly helpful and fun. She has great insight, feedback and knowledge on how to improve your ability to properly train your dog. We and our people-hating dog absolutely love her!
