FirstBarkWe have been taking Chief to Smartk9 now for two months. We have been doing the one on one sessions. I am always excited for the sessions as we are always learning something knew each time and he has been doing so good!! They are really good at explaining whatever it may be we are working on. I am so glad we decided to work with a professional trainer!! Always leaving with a smile on my face!

WHY A BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST? Behavior Specialists are able to read and understand canine behavior beyond public knowledge. Behavior Specialists can work with either dogs and owners that have already developed some type of negative behavior or owners who want to work with their young dogs to prevent behavior issues from occurring in the future. All of our programs are structured around communication and leadership first, because no amount of treats or toys can make up for a lack of trust, understanding, or respect. Due to the complex nature of the canine mind, we don’t advocate any single training method or tool. Each dog must be evaluated individually before the most effective method can be determined.

Why is it so hard to get ahold of anyone I have left Numerous voice mails and have not heard back i have emailed them I don't have any other way inless I drive down there but being i live in grand forks i would like to talk and discuss Before hand
Hi Matthew, it looks like our staff responded to all of your emails within 48 business hours which is our current expected wait time. Wow the difference is night and day. Our pitbull mix had some issues with dog reactivity and he often got into his own head with emotions and thoughts that would cause a snowball effect which brought out some undesired behaviors. Not only did Gen help the pup with these issues, she provided us the reasons why so we could better understand why he felt this way. He is now a happy, obidient dog that can successfully coexist with the Siberian husky. 10/10
Cannot say enough good things about Smart K-9. They have been fantastic to work with from the very beginning. Emilee and her staff are a wonderful team and we are so thankful for them.
Smart K9 has helped me with multiple Great Danes that I have adopted or worked with as a foster home. Smart K9 is amazing in their ability to assess the dog and come up with real world solutions for dogs. Even dogs with tremendous previous trauma. I would recommend them.
