I cannot recommend Brandon highly enough—he is truly the best of the best. Over the years, I’ve worked with many different dog trainers, but none compare to Brandon. His dedication to helping you understand your dog is unmatched. We have a diabetic alert dog (D.A.D) for our 4-year-old son who excelled in scent training but struggled with anxious tendencies that interfered with his ability to perform his job effectively. Brandon provided us with invaluable insight and helped us navigate some difficult conversations about what our dog’s journey as a working dog should look like. His honest and compassionate guidance made all the difference. Through our 6-week training sessions, Brandon helped us address Moose’s anxiety, particularly around other dogs. Thanks to his techniques, Moose has made incredible progress. Now, instead of barking or panting when he sees another dog, he looks to me for direction. It’s a complete 180, and the best part is that his behavior has continued to improve even months after completing training. What sets Brandon apart is his straightforward, no-nonsense approach. My boyfriend and I recently adopted a 2yr old pit bull (Lucy) and wanted to get her obedience training in order to have some control with her around our cat. I went online and did a ton of research and Brandon at Sky Soldier Dog Trainer stood out to me. There are many dog trainers in town and we didn’t want to spend money on training only to have it not work. And Brandon’s methods work, period. Lucy is a very well behaved dog, so the training made her that much better. But I could see how Brandon’s training style would work great with more unruly dogs. After the training I asked my boyfriend if he got what he wanted out of the training and we both agreed we did and it was money well spent. We couldn’t be happier with the results. (And Lucy ended up being naturally great with the cat so no worries there)

Never having owned a dog before we knew we needed some support and Brandon not only gave us some training tools to provide structure for our puppy, Trevor, he was also a wealth of knowledge for myself and my 11 & 9 old. You won’t meet any one more committed to his mission of keeping dogs in the home and out of the shelters due to bad behavior! So thankful we put in the work and didn’t go with a drop off daycare/puppy school. Here’s Trevor in his “place” which has been a game changer in the morning when we’re all running around and at dinner time when it’s tempting to put his paws on the table.

We adopted our Doberman with the intent he’d go through obedience training. He’s a big scardy cat, anxious, nervous, and even pooped and peed during his first session. However, he has been transformed to an A+ #1 good boy.
