Sit With Rollin

I rarely leave reviews but I'm compelled to do so. I was a bit stressed when I brought my puppy, Peru home. I decided that I needed some training so I did some research and found Rollin. What a gift he was. When he entered my home the first question he asked was, "Do you plan on having her use pads forever?" I said no and he told me to start training her to go outside. THAT ADVISE WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY I SPENT! I am happy to say that Peru loves going outside and rarely if ever needs pads. He was so kind, patient, loving, calm, direct and funny. And that was all with me! Like I said I was the one who needed a trainer. We had one small personal blip that we quickly worked through. I highly recommend Rollin and so does Peru!

Rollin is the absolute best! We met the most well behaved puppy at the dog park, and got a glowing referral from the puppy’s owner. He has done 8 sessions with our dog who is now a year and 8 months, and each session has taught us all so much! We love his training methods and use them daily in our routine. Our dog adores Rollin and has made so many improvements, even post puppy phase. He’s the most friendly individual and we consider him a friend - do yourself a favor and hire Rollin, you won’t regret it!

Rollin is a fantastic dog trainer! I started working with him for one on one training when I got a Pomsky Puppy, Nova, when she was about 10 weeks old. Rollin helped with key basics for a happy home for both me and Nova learning skills like tethered settle and helping me handle mouthing/biting as it was a big issue when Nova was little. We also worked on touch, stay, leave it, drop it, down and off. And while seperation anxiety was never a big problem for us it could be because Rollin gave me good tips and tricks to work on before it became an issue. Once Nova was fully vaccinated we worked on walks and worked on her fear. Rollin explains everything in a way that makes sense and is easy to continue practicing with Nova. He understood right away that Nova was a fearful dog which I may not have realized until it was too late. He provided hand outs from everything we worked on as well. We also did Rollin's group class at Urban Pet which was great for Nova to get used to being around other dogs without getting too excited and working on key training basics at the same time. The first class we attended was before Nova was vaccinated but Rollin let us sit and watch so Nova could get used to being around a big group of dogs and people. Rollin is kind, patient and love dogs! Using positive-reinforcement to help pups succeed which creates happy dogs. It can be hard and frustrating raising a puppy especially one with a lot of energy but Rollin helped guide me to understanding she didn't know better and how I could help her learn while showing love and patience. Also, Rollin's suggestion of sitting with Nova outside when she was puppy and couldn't go on walks yet to let her get used to the sights and sounds as a puppy and rewarding her along the way really allowed her to blossom into a confident and well behaved dog. Nova is now a little over a year, but we continue to work with Rollin on things just to keep us both fresh and work on any fear issues.

Rollin is definitely the best trainner in LA! We had three in-house lessons and Rollin taught us a bunch of useful techniques / exercises that helped Moka, our 4-month-old Golden puppy, to calm down and behave well. We had been frustrated with potty problem and Moka being easily hyper, but now he's spending most of the day staying with us in the living room, relaxed and calm. Not gonna lie, the exercises do help a lot!!
