Sit ‘n Stay Training

I appreciate that Charlotte tailors her training to what is best for the dog and the dog’s environment, and provides us as humans realistic expectations (which it turns out we don’t always have). While it can be tough to digest some pieces of this, I understand that it yields more realistic results that are also more long term. She is also very responsive and helpful with tips, which I appreciate even to this day when I message her (even if it’s been a while since worked with us). It’s obvious she puts the dogs first and cares very much about their success.

Charlotte is an excellent trainer and coach. She has helped me prepare for my dog sport competitions, meets regularly with me to train and provides moral support when needed. She’s honest and fair when dealing with dogs and the client dogs I’ve met are happy to work with her. She takes the dog’s emotions as well as the owners into consideration when choosing how to approach an issue. Highly recommend her for any pet, behavioral or competitive based training.

Our issue: mostly good recall with our Vizsla, but we have off-leash space near us and he wasn’t reliably coming when there were high distractions close by. We were very nervous about using an e-collar but we scheduled sessions with Charlotte and had faith. Our result: Charlotte was fantastic to work with! I cannot stress enough how much improvement we’ve seen in our dog’s ability after just 6 sessions. She worked at a pace that felt comfortable for us, and that worked with our busy schedule. We really like her approach to using ecollars and the training with it. We could immediately see that our dog wasn’t being hurt and instead was able to pay attention to us when we asked for it. Now my dog and I have more freedom to explore! We’re looking forward to continuing to work with her in the future!
